As Managing Partner of Sverica Capital, Frank collaborates with Gorilla Logic leadership to drive growth and innovation while further establishing their position as a market leader. A twenty-year veteran of both private equity and M&A firms, he has a proven track record of leveraging companies’ key strengths while positioning them for long-term success.
Stu Stern
Co-Founder & Board Member
Stu co-founded Gorilla Logic in 2002, after serving as founding VP of the Sun Java Center, Sun Microsystems’ global Java professional services organization. As VP of Equity Trading Systems Technology at PaineWebber (now UBS), he led the firm’s trading floor into the digital era. While living in NYC, Stu also fronted the 80s techno band, Strategic Dance Initiative (fans are still hoping for a comeback tour).
Ed Schwarz

Ed has been delivering software systems for an undisclosed number of years. Before co-founding Gorilla Logic, he was Director of eBusiness Consulting at Sun Microsystems.
Michael Dougherty
Board Member
Michael Dougherty serves as a strategic partner to Gorilla Logic’s management team, providing financial and operational guidance as the company continues to expand its international footprint. As Vice President of Sverica Capital, he focuses on sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, transaction execution, and portfolio company support.
Richard Troksa

As Principal of Gold Aspen Consulting, Rich travels between Boulder, Milwaukee, and Paris — racking up frequent flier miles while coaching companies on how to reach their full potential.
Scott Darby
Board Member
Scott is a results-driven transformation executive with more than 20 years of business building experience in operator, investor, and board member roles. He has a passion for improving overall company health by fostering cross-functional collaboration and best practice sharing across business units, firms, and companies.
